Where is the sunshine?

If you have taken a look at my weather pixie at top of my blog, you will see that there has been very little sunshine in my neck of the woods. So I decided to create my own!

kit can be purchased here or here

I can't believe my eldest daughter is turning SIXTEEN! My prissy princess is quite the young lady! And in honor of her upcoming birthday, I am working on a new kit called Pretty Princess. In lovely shades of pink (what else color would a princess kit be??) and elements of gold...a gold charm bracelet with delicate charms including a high heel shoe, crown, and more!

Also watch out for my upcoming Valentine Brag Book Templates and my Valentine Splendor kit...

Tues 1/9 Blog Prompt

Two for Tuesday:

Do you usually arrive on time or late?
Do you get annoyed when other people arrive late or you really don’t care?

I admit I am usually running late. I try to adjust for that by setting my clocks ahead 15 minutes but dh & kiddos go around resetting them so I can never tell if the time is right. I am always forgetting something and having to go back in the house at least twice. I am usually patient for people who are late simply because I know that in my case it is never intentional.

Faithbooking Challenge

I am sponsoring a faithbooking challenge at the Digital Simple Scrapbooks Yahoo Groups.

One option is the Alphabet faithbook. I'll have an Alphabet sketch/template that you can use, and the goal is to hit you with a new one about every two weeks so that we can get through all the letters of the alphabet in a year. IF you'd rather not use the template, but have your own interpretation of the letter (or a different word beginning with the letter...) again...this is YOUR book. Don't worry about whether you are doing what or how I want you to do or not. I am just giving you suggestions and ideas...YOU run with it!

Here is the link to template for the letter A.

There is a PSD format as well as a PSP format. They are exactly the same so only download one.

Mon 1/8 Blog Prompt

Mon 1/8 Blog Prompt

Describe a time when you have benefitted from the kindness of a stranger.

Christmas 97
I took my cousin to Cincinnati from Youngstown to pick up her two kids the day before Christmas Eve. It was her, me and my 4 kids and then her two kids. The oldest child was 6. On our way back to Youngstown, the alternator died and the car stalled. We had very little money, no cell, no triple AAA. We sat on side of road for about an hour in light snowfall all teh while it was getting dark. We weren't near enough to any exit to walk to. Finally a state trooper stopped and saw we needed help. He drove about thirty miles up the road to Truck Stop and got some truckers to tow the car (FREE) , give us all a ride, they fed us, and let us make all calls we needed to get home. They even took a collection and gave us money to buy the kids Christmas gifts. I said I would never say a bad word about truckers since that day!

I'm a day behind

But my resolutions is to be more organized. I have a new planner that I sync with my google calender to keep me from forgetting important dates and appointments.

All of my other resolutions hinge off of this main one. To continue my weekly aquaerobics classes 3x a week. To give up Pepsi....oh the horror...ok maybe to cut down on my pepsi......

spend more FUN time with my family. I want to enjoy them not constantly be nagging and yelling...I am tired of being the contentious wife mentioned in Proverbs......

Pray that the Lord continues to bless and keep my family and friends but online and irl.
